Tipu Ora provides a wide range of primary health, social and education services accessible to all people living in the Rotorua district area. Tipu Ora’s Education service operates nationally from Rotorua up to Whangarei and down to Christchurch.
We focus on the health and wellbeing needs of children, their whānau and their extended whānau. Tipu Ora has an integrated approach to its service delivery to its clients. This means that clients receive a continuum of care, according to their needs, over time and across a range of Tipu Ora’s services.
Tipu Ora has invested significantly in quality management systems across its services.
- Tipu Ora has been awarded accreditation from DAA Group (formally Quality Health New Zealand) on the EQuIP4 NZ Accreditation, Standards and Guidelines, resulting in a 4 year audit cycle.
- Tipu Ora has been granted Approval as Community Service provider under section 403 of the Children, Young Persons, and Their Families Act 1989.
- Tipu Ora holds a 3 year audit cycle for the PTE under the NZQA framework.
